Cookies

Two things, both needed for the shop to work, so they do not wait for a yes:

• Your basket, in this browser’s local storage, not in a cookie. It stays on your device and reaches us only when you send us your order or check out.
• Your cookie choice, in a cookie called sl_consent. It holds a version number, your answers for analytics and marketing, and the date you chose. It lasts 12 months; if we change what we ask, we ask again.

When you pay, you are on Stripe’s own checkout page. Stripe sets its own cookies there to take payment safely and to prevent fraud, under Stripe’s privacy policy.

• Necessary is always on: your basket and your cookie choice, above.
• Analytics would count visits and the pages people read, so we can see what to improve.
• Marketing would show our ads to you on other sites and measure them. Under US state privacy laws, such as California’s, this can count as selling or sharing personal information, so leaving it off is also your opt-out.

Analytics and marketing are off until you turn them on.

Nothing optional. There are no analytics, no advertising tags and no tracking pixels on this site. If we add one, we will name it here and say which kind it is, and it will run only after you say yes to that kind.

Open Cookie settings at the foot of any page, or use the button below. You can turn each kind on or off, or accept or reject them all. Clearing this site’s cookies in your browser resets your choice too, and we will ask again.

If your browser or an extension sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we take it as your opt-out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. Marketing then stays off, even if you choose Accept all. Analytics is still yours to choose.
