Žayti comes from Semaan Lands, our family’s olive grove in Kfarhata, Koura, North Lebanon. The shop is run by SSS Tech, which is responsible for the personal data described here.

We collect what we need to take payment, pack your order and get it to you:

• your name, email address and shipping address;
• your phone number, if you give it;
• what you bought, what it cost, and the shipping and any tax charged.

If you send us your order on Instagram, TikTok or by email, we receive your message, the order in it, and the account or address you send it from. Messages sent through the support form (your name, how to reach you, order number and message) are kept to answer you.

We use these to fulfil and deliver your order, to answer you about it, to handle damaged or wrong items, and to keep the records the law asks of a business.

When you pay by card on this site, you pay on Stripe’s own checkout page. Your card details go to Stripe, not to us: we never see or store your full card number.

We keep your email address, the words you agreed to, where on the site you signed up, and when. We use your address for one thing: to write to you when the new oil is pressed.

If you join the waitlist for a size, we keep your email address, that size, the words you agreed to and when, and we use it once, to tell you the size is back, then mark you as told.

Your basket is saved in your own browser, on your device, so it is still there when you come back. It is not sent to us until you send us your order or check out.

Our cookie page lists what the site keeps in your browser and lets you change your cookie choice.

Our host, Vercel, handles the technical details of each visit, such as your IP address and browser, to deliver pages and keep the site secure.

We use a few companies to run the shop:

• Stripe takes payments on its checkout page and receives your payment, contact and shipping details.
• Supabase stores our orders and the harvest list.
• Vercel hosts the site.
• Instagram, run by Meta, and TikTok carry the messages you send us there, each under its own privacy policy.
• A courier, when we use one to deliver your order, receives your name, phone number and address.

Stripe’s checkout page is run by Stripe under its own privacy policy.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with anyone for their own advertising.

We keep order records for as long as tax and accounting rules require. We keep your harvest-list address until you leave the list.

• Leave the harvest list at any time: reply to one of our harvest-list emails, or write to us and we will remove your address.
• Ask for a copy of the data we hold about you, or ask us to correct it.
• Ask us to delete it. We will delete what we can; some order records we must keep for tax and accounting.

The shop is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

If we change this policy, we will update it here and change the date at the top. Our terms of sale sit alongside it.
